V All-Belarusian People’s Assembly Opens Today in Minsk

The President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will deliver the report at the V All-Belarusian People’s Assembly on June 22. The Head of the State will review in his speech results and outline prospects of social and economic development of the country at the present stage, will mark the problematic issues and their solutions.

BelTA informs that issues concerning foreign policy of Belarus, building mutually beneficial partnership relations with other countries and integration associations with a focus on trade and economic cooperation will be also affected in the speech. It is expected that Alexander Lukashenko will also take part in the work of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly on June 23. The President will make a concluding speech at the closing of the forum.

2,5 thousand people will participate in the event. Among them are simple and rural workers, employees of the social and cultural sphere and the media, the military, entrepreneurs, students, pupils of secondary special educational institutions, retired. Forum delegates will also be heads of state administration authorities, enterprises and organizations, parliamentarians, deputies of local councils, representatives of political parties, public associations. Among the delegates is the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda.

About 150 guests, including nearly 100 guests from abroad, are invited to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
